Job Description
This role is part of a CTA transformation. First priority will go to internals who have been directly impacted within CTA.


Job purpose


The Director, Candidate Experience will be responsible for leading all administrative and operations activities in support of a qualitative experience across diverse Cox businesses. This leader will set the enterprise strategy for candidate experience in partnership with other CTA leaders.


This role requires an innovative and experienced self-starter with the confidence and capability to guide and shape the "one Cox" candidate experience. The leader in this role must have a track record of successfully allocating resources, standing up processes and programs, and holding accountable multi-level stakeholders in a diverse, distributed organization with a broad portfolio.


Duties And Responsibilities


Role Specific Responsibilities:


  • Create and oversee the execution of CTA's overall candidate experience strategy in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team
  • Partners with Employee Engagement Strategy team to ensure alignment between employee experience and candidate experience to foster the complete One Cox experience throughout the employee life cycle
  • Oversees the candidate onsite experience
  • Subject matter expert on competitive trends in recruiting coordination and candidate experience
  • Main liaison with brand marketing on the collateral required for candidate experience
  • Identify cost or resource impacts based on business initiatives and projects and proactively solution against those impacts
  • Responsible for the research and implementation of tools and processes for that will continuously improve our candidate experience (e.g. Chatbot, asynchronous video interviewing, candidate surveys
  • Implements strategy for the post-interview debrief meetings and debrief materials to be used across the candidate experience team
  • Provide recommendations on recruiting strategies that will optimize candidate experience and scheduling
  • Own the administration of candidate satisfaction surveys, monitor trends and make recommendations for improvement
  • Identify process improvements and resources redundancies and make recommendations based on expertise in candidate experience trends, best practices, and candidate experience org design
  • Oversee assessment integration and scheduling when part of the interview experience
  • Provide consistent training and best practices to the rest of the recruiting team
  • Oversee a team of Candidate Experience leaders and SMEs responsible for the end to end candidate experience


CTA Leader Responsibilities


  • Balance the efficiency of a centralized model with the unique needs of Cox businesses. Inspire the creation of business specific and scalable tactics that make us competitive.
  • Understand the intersection of prevailing business needs and labor/market conditions.
  • Manage candidate experience budget and resource allocation to meet business needs in a scalable way
  • Drive brand strategies and oversee events that support candidate experience and engagement.
  • Govern the KPIs that will measure the value of the team. Sponsor the creation of dashboards to storytell and measure performance.


Qualifications


Minimum qualifications include:


  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate strategy into action.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to recruitment.
  • Possesses the ability to draw insights using data and to make meaningful business recommendations
  • 5 years experience in a leadership role
  • Strong executive presence; ability to partner closely with Divisional leadership at multiple levels
  • Experience developing and managing recruitment budgets.
  • Ability to adapt to changing assignments, multiple and conflicting priorities
  • Experience with ATS, CRM, and onboarding tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders.
  • BA/BS Degree with 10+ years experience in recruiting or equivalent combination of education and experience (MS + 8 years of experience OR Ph.D. with 5+ years of experience OR 14+ years of relevant experience with no degree)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and drive innovation as well as operational excellence.
  • Excellent leadership and partnering skills required (partnering and leading peers and colleagues with no formal authority, influence without authority)
  • Strong consultative skills and ability to make persuasive recommendations based on business rationale
  • Strong curiosity and research skills to keep abreast of develop trends in candidate experience
