What We Need
  • Ensures that application development plans support both strategic and near-term needs.
  • Responsible for managing the design, development, implementation and maintenance of business intelligence SAP S/4 HANA and other enterprise applications solutions for business functions across the organization.
  • The role leads a team of developers and technical team members to assure development for SAP S/4 HANA (On-premises and Cloud) RICEFW and other enterprise application systems is designed and deployed successfully.
  • Leads a team of developers, analysts and consultants to deliver approved application development to schedule and budget
  • Supports the IS Relationship Managers in assessing cost and feasibility of systems and applications requests
  • Collaborates with Business Unit management, Relationship Managers, Business Consultants and other stakeholders to identify users' requirements and seek opportunities to improve business processes and support critical business strategies.
What You’ll Do
  • Ensures adherence to Mohawk SDLC practices and conformance to IS process governance
  • Maintains effective, productive and professional working relationship with internal and external customers, third party vendors, project management office, relationship managers, and governance organizations in accomplishing project objectives
  • Evaluates feasibility of possible solutions and recommends actions to IS and business colleagues.
  • Develops strategic and tactical plans for application development
  • Provides direction to the team including staff development and training, budget management, assignment of work, project and resource control, teamwork coordination and feedback on individual, project or overall program performance.
  • Leads and mentors a dynamic team of individuals who constantly search for creative ways to elevate the capabilities of our systems to meet business needs, partly by capitalizing on emerging technologies and partly by adapting technologies to the needs of the customer.
  • Develop, documents and maintains best practices, project standards, procedures, application, quality objectives and "lessons learned", including metrics for assessing progress; ensures that applications systems are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices; develops and delivers training on and emphasizes the use of established project standards, methodology and quality objectives; proactively seeks opportunities to apply technology to expanding business potential, thereby strongly impacting competitive advantage and profitability.
  • Monitors and reports on the status of multiple concurrent project efforts; proactively reviews and interprets performance against operating plans and standards; approves changes in plans; presents reports on project performance, changes, enhancements, scope variations, and other related matters and/or participates in key management activities and committees advising IS senior management and business unit project sponsors accordingly.
  • Responsible for achieving the departmental KPIs for the Development team
  • Provides expert leadership and knowledge in SAP S/4 HANA applications and technologies working as a leader in the Enterprise Applications Development Team
  • Responsible for the accurate and efficient forecasting and allocation of resources required to meet objectives; managing all aspects of development, installation, maintenance, and enhancement for mission-critical application systems in their portfolio.
What You Have
  • Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience in implementation and use of ABAP Programming, PI/PO, BTP, Fiori, Cloud Foundry, RAP, Python, Transport Management System, Security, Workflow, Integrations, etc. Strong grasp of Data Modelling techniques and relational database design in the deployment of an Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with team leadership and all its related aspects (planning, mentoring, coaching, etc.)
  • Knowledge of major RDBMS and SQL language
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline with an information technology focus.
  • In-depth technical knowledge, with hands-on experience managing systems development in new and existing computing architectures and environments; emphasis on systems preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of full life cycle application development and implementation

  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively exercise tact, discretion, judgment and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with internal and external customers and senior management.
  • Ability to quickly identify and analyze risks & impacts and define alternatives & prioritizations to remove roadblocks.
  • Ability to act as an advisor on professional and technical issues with a view towards reaching decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of applications development, system development life cycle, Information Technology practices and methods.
