The Director of 5G Business Internet will play a critical role in ensuring our Fixed Wireless and Connected Computing products and services are successful in the market by defining the product vision, strategy, requirements and roadmap that meet our growth and financial goals as well as exceed customer experience expectations. Own both strategic and operational outcomes through managing complex business needs and challenges and managing the cross functional delivery of innovative wireless products and solutions.


Work closely with partners and vendors to promote and advocate for Business Internet business objectives delivering customer trials and solutions, demonstrating to our customers their return on investment and a realization of the value of T-Mobile’s Business Internet solution portfolio.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Build, mentor and lead a team of Product Managers to deliver solutions that meet the business goals of the organization.
  • Work closely with finance partners on pricing strategies and sales quotas, managing a budget while prioritizing product resource allocation and investments.
  • Work within a driven and highly motivated team to provide a world-class partner experience to T-Mobile’s enterprise and government customers.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, support, implementation, marketing and experience to develop product requirements and a timeline for releases that meet customer needs and align with the overall product vision.
  • Key Performance Indicators include Quarterly planning and reviews, Retention, Utilization, Revenue, Speed to deploy, Customer SAT, NPS, product performance, front line experience, and P&L contribution.
  • Define use cases for new products and services including features and enhancements.
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with cross functional peers and our current and potential customers to determine the most effective go-to-market and partnership collaboration strategies.
  • Manage the product road map to drive and support technical delivery end to end.
  • Communicate the product vision, progress against strategic outcomes and organizational needs balancing customer experience and financial outcomes to all levels of the organization and senior leaders.
  • Manage the product lifecycle outlining short and long term objectives, documenting key milestones such as product launches and updates.
  • Develop a team that conducts market research including target markets, channel and segment strategy, and partners and prospects to support the product ecosystem.
  • Assess and develop new connectivity and compute products and services tied to new and/or under-penetrated verticals of focus.


Work Experience:


  • Significant experience in engaging and facilitating dialogue with C-level and senior executives at Fortune 1000 businesses
  • Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) that are leveraged to address complex business issues, negotiations, and opportunities
  • Ability to prioritize deliverables and projects to meet timelines efficiently, to adapt to changes in priorities quickly, and to structure and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with a focus on a drive to completion and tangible impact
  • Bachelor’s Degree; Masters Preferred
  • Understanding and insights into new services and features that can be enabled in 5G wireless technology
  • Consistent track record of leading large, distributed teams delivering product quality solutions on a tight schedule
  • 10 plus years of work experience in product management, strategy and execution specifically in fixed wireless and/or Enterprise connectivity solutions in wireless or wireline
  • Professional experience with financial responsibility including managing budgets and P&L contribution

WA/NY/CA/CO Pay Range: $168,300 - $227,700


The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.


At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
