Direct Support Staff- Entry Level

Location(s): Danbury, Bethel, Brookfield, New Milford, New Fairfield, Newtown, Prospect, & Ridgefield

Hours: 2nd Shift (Evening) & 3rd Shift (Overnight), Weekend availability a requirement

Pay Rate: $ 17.25/ hourly (Shift & weekend hourly incentives ($2 -$7)

Responsibilities:

• Many of our medical programs allow our direct support professionals to working alongside a clinical team, seasoned nursing staff- learning awaits.
• Cooking and feeding of meals, ambulating and positioning of individuals based on activity, bathing, clothing, and toileting.
• If you are new to the field of direct care, ask us about our Talent Coordination Interim Floater position where you can have the opportunity to learn all of our programs your first two months on the job.
• Documentation and recording of pertinent medial information or observations throughout shift.
• Transporting individuals in the community for appointment and activities.
• You will be responsible for providing assistance with activities of daily living (ADLS) and care for adult individuals with disabilities.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License is required
• Willingness to learn, no experience needed
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
