Direct Support Professional Jobs

High school diploma or equivalent

• Have and maintain an acceptable Bureau of Motor Vehicles driving record.
• Have and maintain state minimum Vehicle Insurance Coverage if transporting a person served.
• Eighteen (18) Years of Age or Older
• Have a reliable vehicle in good repair if transporting people served in personal vehicles.
• Must be able to safely utilize transport equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers.
• Must pass a drug test and TB screening.
• Complete training and demonstrate continuous competency.
• Ability to communicate adequately to complete required forms and reports of services provided; follow oral and written instructions; and communicate with the person served in the individual's mode of communication.
• Have and maintain Valid State-Issued Driver’s License
• Must possess or be able to complete requirements for First Aid/CPR certification and Medication Administration.
• Must be able to pass all applicable background checks.
• Have a valid social security card.
