Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) support our residents and community based clients to live the lives they choose and participate within their community. They help people with food preparation, personal health and hygiene needs, personal shopping, money management, and prepare all required documentation.

DSPs are expected to be strong advocates for the people they support. DSPs may work in our residential homes, at the Ashwood Inn on weekends, or in our community based programs.

ASH also maintains a roster of substitute staff who are ready to fill in when others need a vacation or fall ill.
