Job Description
  • $500 Sign-On Bonus for All Direct Support Positions**


As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), what would I do?


As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will empower adults with disabilities to lead their best lives. Every day you will provide support to meet their individualized goals. Dayshift DSPs get the busy time! Everyone is up and about, from doctor's appointments to family visits to horseback riding lessons; you are there for all of it! As a Swing Shift DSP, you are there for wind-down times of the day. People are coming home from their day-to-day adventures, and it's time to start prepping and making dinner, passing meds and chatting with residents. Night Shift DSPs are there for the quiet hours. People are mostly asleep, and you get the peaceful task of resetting the home for the next day's activities. Prepping meals, cleaning up, and planning for the morning. Regardless of your shift, everything falls into MV Advancements' core values, and living those values lets you know you are on the right track!


Typically, the Day Shift runs 5:30 AM- 1:30 PM; Swing Shift runs 1:00 PM- 11:00 PM; Night Shift runs 10:30 PM- 7:30 AM.

We will teach you everything that you need to know! No experience is required for this role; all you need is a desire to learn and support others.

Salary


This position starts at a competitive wage, $17.00, with a 15% shift differential. All hours worked between 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM and any hours worked on Saturday or Sunday earn a shift differential of 15% of your hourly rate! At $17.00, your shift differential would be $2.55 per hour, for a total hourly rate of $19.55! We also offer a $500 sign-on bonus--$250 at the time of hire and $250 after your first six months.
