LIT Boutique is looking for interns to join the team for FALL 2023!

Crazy about fashion and helping others with wardrobe choices? Organized and ready to direct others? Whether you're just getting into the fashion and retail industry or you're a seasoned clothing store veteran, LIT Boutique is looking for a creative and fashion-forward intern to assist our Social Media and Digital Marketing team on a variety of projects and gain hands-on experience working in different areas of social media, digital marketing, and e-commerce for a multi-faceted fashion boutique. LIT Boutique is currently looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic, and fashion-savvy individual to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a creative and fashion-forward individual with a strong understanding of fashion trends and desire for learning "behind the scenes" of how a small business runs!

Launched in 2005, LIT is a specialty boutique that offers an unparalleled shopping experience tailored to meet our customers' needs. Along with our e-commerce site we operate three stores in two states with more on the way! Like fashion, LIT is ever-evolving. We're continually searching for the best "it" trends, the most talented up-and-coming designers, and original and unique styling tips to offer our savvy customers. At LIT, we're dedicated to helping our customers find exactly what they're looking for while providing the utmost level of customer service. We understand that it is the effort of each individual employee that contributes to our continued success.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

• Assisting in curating our content across social media platforms
• Collaborating on unique photo and video content for use across platforms
• Gathering assets for use across numerous social media platforms and digital marketing purposes
• Working closely with our team to enhance branded online presence
• Curating media libraries and assets
• Creating original & relevant story segments for Instagram
• Participating in and/or directing your own photoshoots & video content creation

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Premiere Pro (or similar softwares) highly preferred
• Strong time management skills
• Recent graduates or currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program related to fashion, marketing, or design
• Knowledge of social media platforms & type of content for each platform
• We prefer that you bring your own personal laptop (2015 or newer)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills–both written and verbal
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Highly organized with an eye for detail

This position will be in person.
