Role Summary


As a member of GE Vernova’s Brand Marketing leadership team, this leader will help us creatively communicate how we bring The Energy to Change the World and will help make our brand one of the most recognized in the industry. Partnering with leaders across GE Vernova, this leader will play a critical role in channelling GE’s 130 years of innovation to carry forward the legacy of innovation that dates back to Thomas Edison while at the same time ushering in a new beginning, story, and brand.


As a highly strategic, senior leader on the Brand Marketing team, the
Chief Storyteller
will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to help shape the strategy, vision, and narrative for the GE Vernova brand and make a difference in the world for generations to come.


This leader will partner closely with business leaders, investors, customers, and government stakeholders that span the breadth of GE Vernova’s businesses. The Chief Storyteller will drive the vision, the external content channel strategy, and will shape the stories that elevate and launch the story of GE Vernova and its businesses to the world.



Essential Responsibilities


  • Translates business strategy into clear, compelling campaigns including storytelling, product promotion and education in creative breakthrough ways
  • Actively mines, explores, bridges connections, and develops a pipeline of stories and content from across the GE Vernova portfolio of businesses
  • Responsible for budget and project management scope for campaigns and agency management
  • Seeks, recommends, and delivers campaign approaches across existing channels and new, innovative brand storytelling outlets including TV advertising, sponsorships, podcasts, video, etc.
  • Develops and tracks metrics to measure impact and communicate learnings
  • Designs the GE Vernova stories strategy, including channel activation strategy, for the development and amplification of GE Vernova stories across stakeholder groups (customers, investors, governments, media, employees)



Qualifications/Requirements


  • Major experience in brand, marketing, or related
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge/ experience
  • Significant experience and proven track record in brand strategy, brand storytelling, content creation, and agency management
