Digital Media Assistant Jobs

Join our passionate and dedicated team at EarthShare Texas as a Digital Media Intern. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our organization's mission of empowering our mission-driven nonprofit members to pursue positive environmental and health impacts across the Lone Star State. As a Digital Media Intern, you will play a vital role in increasing our online presence, engaging with our audience, and amplifying our collective impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and actively engage with online audiences, responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally using consistent brand voice.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain the organization’s content calendar.
• Help track and analyze social media metrics, generating regular reports on the performance of different campaigns and content types.
• Assist in developing and implementing the organization's social media strategy to increase brand visibility and engagement.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to generate compelling visual and written content, including images, graphics, video, and more.
• Stay up-to-date with social media best practices and emerging trends to provide innovative ideas for content creation and engagement strategies.
• Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

Qualifications:

• Experience with social media scheduling tools and analytics platforms is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to target audiences.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
• Currently pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, environmental studies, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proficient in creating and editing engaging visual content, including basic graphic design and video editing skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Creative mindset and willingness to contribute fresh ideas to the team.

Details:

• Location: Austin, Texas (hybrid work format with most work done remotely)
• Start Date: October, 2023
• Compensation: $20 per hour
• Position Type: Part-Time employment (10-15 hours/week)
