Afterpay is looking for a Digital Marketing Strategist to join our North America marketing team. This role sits on the growth marketing team responsible for driving consumer, app growth and engagement. This role will work closely with the brand marketing, analytics, product and creative functions, to develop and execute full-funnel growth campaigns.


As a Digital Strategist, you will be responsible for the growth and contribution of app downloads, new customers and GPV from organic channels managing web, SEO, and App Store optimization. We’re looking for someone who has previously shaped and successfully managed app growth strategies with proven results that deliver to business objectives.


You will:


  • Partner with our Analytics team to measure the impact of each campaign, and develop ways to scale
  • Partner with creative teams to design campaign assets that drive engagement and align with our brand guidelines
  • Manage agencies that help optimize keyword performance across SEO & ASO.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies that drive website traffic, search engine rankings, and app store downloads
  • Engage cross-functionally with marketing, product, engineering, analytics and legal to meet ambitious growth targets
  • Work closely with paid media leads ensuring we are maximizing paid spend with organic initiatives.
  • Run campaign initiatives end-to-end; you will design experiments, develop campaign strategy, and drive execution of the campaign through to completion inclusive of web page builds.


Qualifications


You have:


  • Experience within a high growth eCommerce, financial services or retail environment
  • Strong understanding of web development and maintenance
  • Experience with SEO and app store optimization tools and platforms
  • A strategic, analytical and customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working with a global reament
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing


Additional Information


Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.


Zone A: USD $138,200 - USD $169,000


Zone B: USD $128,500 - USD $157,100


Zone C: USD $121,700 - USD $148,700


Zone D: USD $110,600 - USD $135,200
