JOB DESCRIPTION
DIGITAL CONTENT CREATOR (Full Time Regular): FOX 13 News, the Tampa Bay area’s leading newsroom, is hiring a digital content creator to join its growing online news team. Does this describe you? You are an expert in digital and social media platforms, and you know how to deliver a message to audiences, from television to Twitter to TikTok and beyond.
The FOX 13 digital team is involved in every aspect of the newsgathering and reporting process, including writing copy, capturing and editing photos and video, creating graphics, producing live streaming video, and managing user-generated
content.
Ideal applicants will have 3+ years’ experience writing and publishing news content across multiple platforms, including online, on-air, in print, and/or on social media. A BA/BS degree in journalism, communications or related field is preferred. Desirable skills include in-depth knowledge of content management systems, iNews or ENPS, search engine optimization, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Meta Business Manager, Tweetdeck, TikTok business, Youtube enterprise, Google and Adobe analytics, ComScore, Chartbeat, and Slack. Other duties as deemed necessary and assigned.
