Job Description

:

VEQTOR, a life sciences engineering consulting company, is currently is looking for a talented Digital Communications, Marketing and Content Creator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should be creative but also detail oriented with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ability to effectively communicate a consistent brand message externally while internally communicating ideas and plans effectively to a diverse internal audience will be key to being successful.


:

  • Develop monthly social media reports and recommendations for optimization.
  • Develop strategies and resources to drive employee engagement across social media platforms
  • Develop and implement social media strategy to raise VEQTOR’s brand awareness, generate inbound traffic, and grow social following via organic and paid social channels.
  • Create high-quality and engaging visual content tailored to each platform, while ensuring brand consistency
  • Publish stories from VEQTOR’s people for various forms of content such as short and long form posts, audiograms, videos, etc.
  • Evaluate new platforms to ensure our messaging reaches the right audience.
  • Manage engagement across all of VEQTOR’s social medial platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.


Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Creativity – Ability to create (or manage the creation of) content that’s exciting, valuable, and relevant while staying on a desired brand message.
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Canva or other editing software is required.
  • Result focus – Be able to articulate a goal then track and communicate the results while improving where necessary.
  • Writing - Skilled at effective writing to express company’s views creatively and write concise content that speaks to our audience.
  • Success working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated – Need to be a driven individual who can effectively work across multiple disciplines. Stay up to date on the latest digital technologies and social media trends.
  • Strategy development – Create and drive a strategy that is meaningful and keep a calendar of events.
  • Experience in marketing, social media, or communications.
  • Project management – Efficiently manage projects across multiple tools and disciplines.
  • Demonstrated success applying social media best practices across various social channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro is a plus.
