Position Overview:

Provides telephone and reception coverage for the Department. Processes diet orders, dietary requests and menus. Monitors tray assembly accuracy.

EDUCATION

• HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
• Other: Courses in basic nutrition desirable.
• Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

• Previous health care diet office experience desirable.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Incumbent must be well groomed and posses a clear and pleasant speaking voice.
• Computer literacy desirable.
• A demonstrated ability to work under pressure in an atmosphere of frequent interruptions.
• Knowledge of hospital diets desirable.

Pay Range: $27.46 - $34.49 / hourly

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
