Job Description
Title: Devops Engineer
Location: Orlando, FL
Type: Full time
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Peer review team member contributions to CI/CD configurations or automated processes.
  • Work with developers and leads to create and support effective solutions to CI/CD processes.
  • Gain a strong understanding of all facets of the business and supporting infrastructure, including recommending technologies to increase automated process efficiency.
  • Participate in the architecture, design, and development of new CI/CD processes supporting new projects.
  • Participate in design discussions, SDLC processes, and code reviews.
  • Monitor production server logs to identify any exceptions and route them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Implement strategies to minimize service costs in cloud application environments.
  • Eagerness to learn and ability to research solutions independently.
  • Help support production server application issues by troubleshooting and providing relevant data to the team.
  • Responsible for designing, documenting, implementing, maintaining, and supporting tooling and configuration supporting CI/CD processes.
  • Adopt a security-first approach to the review and implementation of CI/CD processes and components.
  • Write documentation and test existing and new features of CI/CD pipelines and processes.
  • Accountable for creating and maintaining high-quality configuration scripts defining pipeline actions, and any other automation as required.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Current experience with Windows Server and IIS
  • 1+ years of experience working with automated testing (including UI testing) in CI/CD pipelines
  • A degree in a science-related field is a plus but not necessary with commensurate experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS and Azure DevOps
  • 3+ years of experience automating with scripting languages including PowerShell
  • 2+ years of experience designing, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines and processes
