What You’ll Do:

You will assure DSM products meet consistent & high quality by assisting in the operation and development of QC functions for DSM. You will primarily work in the DSM QC receiving inspection and non-clean packaging laboratory areas. May be required to perform some inspections in the Clean Room, in which case all gowning procedures must be followed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine lab tests for incoming and finished product testing.
• Interface with suppliers as needed.
• Follow all DSM QC procedures when inspecting in-coming materials, in-process components, and finished product while recording all results in the proper QC required documentation.
• May require lifting up to 50 lbs., manual torque inspections not to exceed 40 lb.’s of force.
• Review documents for completeness and accuracy and maintain label control.
• Accountable for materials stored in the QC Quarantine areas.

You Bring:

• Must pay strong attention to detail and have ability to effectively communicate with various parties both internally and externally.
• 2 years of technical experience in High School preferred or GED or chemical sciences required. BS degree preferred. Years of experience may be substituted for degree.
• Minimum 1 year of experience demonstrating progressive inspection and testing responsibilities in a laboratory setting.
• Must have good written and oral communications skills, computer literacy, and a good standard knowledge of units of measure.
