This posting is for a Full-Stack Software Engineer in the Product Platforms organization. In this role, the engineer will participate in all aspects of requirements gathering, design, development, and support of software products supporting Bayer Crop Science - true cradle-to-grave ownership. Teams in our organization use Agile development methodologies.
Responsibilities include:
- Ownership of applications, supporting AWS infrastructure, test automation, and CI/CD pipelines
- Cradle-to-grave ownership of software products
- Direct interaction with business users
- Collaboration with Product Management on a product backlog

Associated Projects:
This posting is for a role working in the Pipeline Platform, Materials Management group. This team works on several software products supporting logistics activities within the R&D and Supply Chain functions of Crop Science. We provide solutions for the Product Supply and R&D organizations to help them get information on all of the various materials that are used throughout business workflows. This involves the creation and of multiple UIs and API, as well as the operation of a robust Elastic Search instance.
Team Dynamic/Culture:
This is currently a team of 4, with this posting being for the 5th spot on the team. The team uses agile software development methodologies. The team is currently geographically distributed, with members in Missouri and Illinois. The work on the team includes front-end and API web development with high levels of integrations with products owned by other teams.
