Job Description

We are looking for a Detox Nurse with experience in addiction medicine to join our inclient team. The successful candidate will provide direct client care, assess client needs, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. The Detox Nurse will also be responsible for providing education to clients and families about addiction treatment and recovery.

Description

Available Schedules:

Monday-Friday

  • 3:30pm - 12:00am (8 hour shift)
  • 7:30am - 4:00pm (8 hour shift)


$30-40: Based on Experience

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
  • Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
  • Administer nursing care patients dealing with SUD withdrawal
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records
  • Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior


Qualifications:

  • Valid LVN or RN license in the state of CA
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Kipu is a huge plus!
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
