Job Description
Job Title: Desktop Support Technician II
Duration: 6 Months (Temp to Hire)
Location: New Bedford, MA, 02740
Description
  • Work with end users to resolve all audio-video-related problems.
  • Provide telepresence white glove support when requested during conference center hours.
  • Maintain accurate system hardware documentation and make recommendations for removal of equipment and upgrades when systems are nearing capacity.
  • Coordinate collaboration and audio-visual equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Validate essential audio-video reservation requests to confirm that the appropriate technology and equipment is available, and the data submitted is accurate.
  • Train users on the proper use of video-related equipment. Create and improve documentation for site AV-related processes and options to assist users with selecting and using the solutions that best fit the management of their needs.
  • Provide supervision of the installation process for site audio-visual and collaborative technology.
  • Support of day-to-day operation of audio-visual and collaboration technologies on specified sites or locale.
  • Attended and supported conference meetings when necessary.
  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals.
  • Provide support of conference center users' basic network connectivity and audio-visual connectivity issues.
  • Provide customer-facing site support and responses to all employees, visiting customers and contractors for audio-video management activities.
  • Support/facilitate events in partnership with the internal event and webcast team as well as external vendors when scheduling does not conflict with the existing conference center schedule.
