Designer/Drafter Jobs

The Designer/Drafter is responsible for the creation of technical drawings and plans for mechanical layouts using computer-aided design software, managing multiple small sized capital projects simultaneously (up to $250,000), and working with other team members to support engineering initiatives.
Knowledge And Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blue prints, drawings, journals and financial reports. Ability to effectively present information to management, engineers and operational leadership. Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively. Strong math skills.
Education And Experience

• Food equipment design experience or project management experience is preferred.
• Associates degree in drafting or engineering and minimum of 2 years of technical experience in drafting and mechanical design or a minimum of 5 years of technical experience in drafting and mechanical design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software required.
