The Impact
The Design Intern will assist in the creative execution of print, web and digital assets across the five diverse business divisions and at the corporate level. This role will require enthusiasm, integrity and a proven ability to ideate, develop and deliver innovative concepts in line with brand guidelines while pushing to explore new creative methods to elevate the overall brand. The Design Intern will work closely with Creative Directors, designers and writers.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic thinker, developing and executing creative solutions that align with — and at times push — the boundaries of our brand
  • Generate innovative and compelling designs
  • Advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion in all stages of the creative process, from ideation to execution
  • Collaborate across the team to deliver leading, relevant, and cohesive creative solutions, rapidly synthesizing and iterating on feedback when necessary
  • Demonstrate a passion for storytelling and the potential for all aspects of design – typography, motion, copy, and imagery — to visualize our brand in bold, compelling ways
  • Develop and deliver engaging presentations that effectively convey creative concepts and ideas to key stakeholders
  • Drive brand awareness across all visual communication vehicles — print and collateral, advertising, branding, web/interactive, social media, brand style guides and environmental design
What We're Looking For
  • Knowledge across multiple communication vehicles and production processes, including emails, landing pages, web pages, social ads, banners as well as print and collateral
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Effective in a fast-moving environment, both independently and collaboratively
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a design-related program (e.g. graphic design, web design, visual communication etc.)
  • Willingness to learn while doing, growth mindset
  • Understanding of design principles including color theory, typography, layout, and composition
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Organizational, analytical and time management skills
  • Maintain a high degree of craft and attention to detail in all creative work
  • Must provide a portfolio of exceptional work that demonstrates your skills and experience

The Location: Road Island, Virtual.
Compensation/Benefits Information (This section is only applicable to US candidates):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base wage is $30. The final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. This role is not eligible for additional compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
