Design Engineer - The Fort Miller Co., Inc.

Responsibilities Of Our Design Engineer

• Develop detailed manufacturing drawings
• Assist in the overall design and technical effort needed to support the sale, engineering and production of precast concrete products
• Perform design calculations
• Interact regularly with contractors, consulting engineers and/or government entities to develop and get approvals for manufacturing drawings

Qualifications Of Our Design Engineer

• Proficiency with AutoCAD or other CAD platforms
• 3-7 years experience in a field related to structural engineering
• BS in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
• Construction experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as daily interaction with engineers, contractors and public agencies is required
