The Design Engineer will be a key member of the Trebor Engineering Team. Through engineering mentorship, the Design Engineer I implements assigned project action items to meet project technical goals on time.

Essential Job Functions
➢ Develop and implement new product designs as they relate to fluid management systems.
➢ Modify, improve and cost reduce existing product.
➢ Able to instrument products, gather data and make product upgrades from design of experiments
➢ Perform engineering tests to validate the product or design.
➢ Actively participates in design reviews and failure mode effects analysis
➢ Provide engineering and drafting support to other departments.

Other Job Functions
➢ Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
➢ Maintains technological awareness of design and engineering tools, materials, methods and practices.
➢ Maintains awareness of market and technical trends and standards as they relate to design and manufacture of fluid management systems and plastic injection molding.

Physical Activities Required to Perform Essential Functions
➢ Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds occasionally, move within office complex, and write by hand or keyboard.
➢ Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

➢ Visual acuity is needed for close detail work and daily computer use.
Job Conditions
➢ General office, manufacturing and laboratory environments
➢ International travel required on a limited basis

Qualifications
➢ BS in Mechanical Engineering.
➢ Zero to three years experience in mechanical engineering
➢ Strong CAD Skills
➢ Familiarity with CNC operation / Fabrication a plus
➢ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
➢ Ability to maintain internal and external customer relationships and work well in a team environment.
