COMPLEXITY OF KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Strategic planning and vision casting
Managing a large organizational budget and ensuring compliance to technical rules and regulations
Coordinating many diverse projects simultaneously
Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Analyzing complex and sensitive situations and identifying and adopting appropriate courses of action
Establishing and maintaining effective interpersonal relationships, at times involving sensitive issues
Negotiating and communicating effectively with officials, legislators, and administrators to accept and implement recommendations
Understanding, interpreting and applying applicable laws, agency policies and procedures
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a closely related field; PLUS five years of experience in senior leadership, administration, or a closely related field
OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or MBA
History of leading audit, accounting, finance, or collection functions
Experience in successfully leading larger teams (e.g., in excess of 50 people)
This position requires occasional travel
Applicants must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to perform all job-related travel
Possession and maintenance of a valid Oklahoma State Driver’s License is also required
