The Deputy Director, Communications and Development works with the Chief External Relations Officer to develop The Task Force’s external relations strategy and manage the team responsible for implementing it. The role is ideal for a seasoned strategic thinker with deep expertise in global health and development, who thrives on guiding teams who deliver measurable results, and have fun while doing it. The Deputy Director should have extensive
experience in fundraising and business development (with individuals, foundations, corporations, and government), is creative and collaborative, is highly organized and skilled with systems and processes, and enjoys collaborating with colleagues across the organization to advance new ideas and solve challenges.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department of work.
