We are looking to add a Full - Time Dental Hygienist to our team here at Matthew Wittrig, DDS to help us continue our tradition of providing the highest quality patient care available.

Dr. Wittrig and the team are committed to the health of our patients and to making the experience of going to the dentist a positive one for everyone we serve.

Matthew Wittrig, DDS operates on Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM.

As a Dental Hygienist, you will:

• Scan for digital impressions of diagnostic models
• Record evaluation of periodontal conditions, occlusal relations and extent of prophylaxis on dental chart to ensure a complete diagnosis and proper treatment plan by the dentist according to ADA guidelines
• Administer Nitrous Oxide and Oxygen to patients as applicable
• Provide our patients with ongoing preventive oral care by cleaning, scaling and polishing teeth to prevent gum disease
• Educate patients when it comes to their oral health care needs and prevention of disease
• Provide treatment for patients with infection and disease
• Record treatment information on the patient's chart, including treatment rendered, the type of treatment planned and the amount of chair time, doctor time and assistant time needed for next appointment
