Job Summary
Pay rate: $22/hr.

Organize warehouse and storage facilities, arrange warehouse handling equipment, and load/unload air cargo. Provide all necessary and required under-wing ground support services. Maintain the required safety and quality standards as well as comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and company policies. including but not be limited to loading and unloading cargo, marshaling, water/lavatory servicing, and load planning.


Job Responsibilities-Warehouse
•Load/unload air cargo from/to trucks

  • Prepare and palletize cargo as needed
  • Make sure paperwork related to the cargo is correct
  • Assure proper handling and delivery of cargo and operation of related equipment
  • Follow Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations
  • Comply with Swissport Standard Operating Procedures and Policies
  • All other duties as assigned

Job Responsibilities-Ramp
  • Marshall aircraft during arrival and departure
  • Drive and/or operate ground support equipment to include tow tractors, tow bars, belt loaders, container loaders, water/lavatory service trucks, aircraft ground power units, aircraft air start units, air stairs, cargo dollies and passenger vans.
  • Service aircraft water and lavatories
  • Inspect ramp areas adjacent to gate and aircraft for debris and remove/dispose of when found.
  • Report all equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor/manager
  • Comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority and carrier security requirements
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications and Competencies

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to work in inclement weather
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work flexible working hours
