We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Demand Planner to join our dynamic team. As a Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain operations and ensuring accurate demand forecasting to meet customer demands effectively. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and possess advanced Excel skills. Experience with NetSuite and managing international customers would be a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:

Demand Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical data, market trends, and customer insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and operations.

Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP): Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to create and execute the S&OP process. Lead regular meetings to review demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory levels, making recommendations to optimize the supply chain.

Data Analysis: Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data, generate reports, and develop insightful dashboards. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in demand and sales data, providing actionable recommendations to improve forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Collaborative Forecasting: Engage with key customers and international stakeholders to gather relevant market intelligence and align on demand forecasting. Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

System Utilization: Leverage NetSuite or other demand planning and ERP systems to manage demand-related activities, including data entry, reporting, and analysis. Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements to streamline demand planning operations.

Demand Variability Management: Proactively identify and manage demand variability factors, such as seasonality, promotions, and new product launches. Develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with demand fluctuations and optimize inventory planning accordingly.

Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in demand planning. Identify opportunities to enhance demand planning processes, tools, and methodologies, driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Demand Planner in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, complex formulas, and pivot tables.

- Familiarity with demand planning and ERP systems.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders.

- Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong business acumen, understanding key market dynamics, customer behavior, and supply chain concepts.

- Ability to adapt to changing business requirements and implement innovative solutions.

- Knowledge of international demand planning practices and experience managing international customers is a plus.
