What you will be doing


As of August 24, 2021, AmerisourceBergen requires all U.S. team members to be fully vaccinated and show proof of completed vaccine prior to their first day of employment. The Delivery Manager instills and maintains the “process health” of the Product Team, so that the team delivers value-creating products to the market on time and on budget. The Delivery Manager drives the Agile process within the team, serves as a connector to stakeholders within and beyond the team, and maintains important documentation and tools to track our work and promote efficient execution against our roadmaps. The Delivery Manager works closely with the Product Manager to identify and mitigate risks and barriers to the team’s objectives, and they communicate openly and often to keep key partners informed and engaged in our work.


The Delivery Manager is expected to:


  • Proactively coordinate the logistics of new product and feature releases
  • Contribute to planning the work of the team by helping define scope and objectives for each sprint and focusing on the timely delivery of value by the product team.
  • Partner with the Product Manager to manage omnichannel stakeholder communications for each product, including the creation of Release Notes for each new release and publishing those release notes through appropriate channels.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of Agile methodologies and their importance to the performance of a Product Team
  • Work with the Technical Product Owner or business lead to manage team capacity and velocity
  • Contribute to a culture of teamwork and collaboration
  • Convene and lead agile ceremonies and team meetings, such as standups and demo days, and holding team members accountable for their respective deliverables
  • Maintain the product roadmap and the sprint board, document risks and barriers, and play an important role in delivering quality products and features in a timely manner.
  • Champion new process improvement initiatives


What your background should look like


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong interpersonal skills including coaching, collaborating, and team building
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • Experience working in Program Management roles preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communications ability
  • Proficiency in Agile methodology (Certification in Agile or SAFe preferred)
