Delivery Driver- Part Time

The Delivery Driver is responsible for creating a personalized customer experience for each and every customer as well as providing a delivery service for online customers. This position is accountable for executing initiatives that achieve all hospitality goals.

This position is responsible for complying with all policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and all other operational objectives of the business. All drivers are responsible for executing visual standards, presentation requirements, meeting customer needs and product performance.

• Provide first class delivery service that drives new business and contributes to online profitability.
• Follow set, scheduled route for daily deliveries.
• Meet/exceed Hospitality and Marketing objectives.
• Practice safe driving and cash handling.
• Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements in a timely manner.
• Meet/exceed delivery targets and be detailed to ensure accuracy of items being delivered.
• Read maps or set GPS to determine and track daily route.

Experience And Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience with customer service in retail.
• Minimum 25 years of age.
• A clean driving record with no traffic violations.
• Valid Florida driver’s license.
• Intermediate-level math skills.
• Strong analytical skills to assess data, facts and figures.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Travel Requirements
This position will require daily travel throughout a pre-defined delivery area in a company work vehicle.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Work is performed in a retail environment and requires the ability drive a motor vehicle, sit and stand for long periods. Driver must also operate standard office equipment, GPS and POS systems and keyboards. Prolonged periods of sitting or standing and also bending, reaching and kneeling to obtain products for customers and to maintain the visual appearance of the store. Employees should be able to lift 10 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
