Deckhand Jobs

Serves as an unlicensed seaman (deckhand) aboard Offshore Supply Vessels less than 100 gross tons. Reports to Master and/or designated watch officer. Responsible for upholding Master’s Standing Orders and the safe, secure, and environmentally sound execution of all vessel operations. Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, classification society rules and international conventions.
Obeys and routinely reviews Company policies and procedures; recommends changes as needed. Maintains vessel's material condition, equipment, and sanitation. Supports navigation and engine watches as necessary in an entry level capacity. Fulfills critical role in firefighting and lifesaving teams.
