Job Summary
The Dean provides leadership and vision for a comprehensive Student Development Program that will support the academic mission of the College and have a direct impact on enrollment, retention and the achievement of General Education student learning outcomes. The Dean is responsible for all policies, administrative guidelines, rules, regulations, and procedures relating to student services, and initiating needed changes. The Dean supervises operations of departments in the Division of Student Engagement and Success including Athletics, Campus Life, Counseling and Wellness Center, and Accessibility Services, and will set measurable goals for each of these areas. Serves as delegated Judicial Affairs Officer managing and implementing the Student Code of Conduct, as Deputy Title IX Coordinator and as the lead of the Behavioral Intervention Team.

Qualifications - Education
Master’s Degree required, Doctorate preferred, preferably in Student Affairs Administration, Higher Education Administration, Counseling, or Psychology.

Qualifications - Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of higher education experience demonstrating increasing supervisory responsibility, extensive experience in counseling, student services, and higher education administration.

Qualifications - Skills
Strong organizational skills, outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated experience working with students, faculty, program directors, and the community. Data analysis and utilization towards advancing mission and goals of the division. Understand and able to use information technology to deliver, monitor, and evaluate programs and services for students. Familiarity with assessment strategies for student affairs, desirable. Experience in fiscal management of comprehensive student affairs budgets.
