Dc Power Technician Jobs

This position is responsible for onsite activities under the supervision of the Lead onsite.This position will be exposed to the professional environment of Data Centers, Telecommunications Companies, Mines and utility Companies.

Responsibilities:

·Work in a team setting changing batteries for our customers.

·Perform battery testing, site audits, preventative maintenance when applicable.

·Assist with tool gathering and ensuring all needed tools are readily available at the jobsite when needed.

·Perform audits of tools to get either calibrated or replaced depending on circumstances.

·Assist with tool organization and truck cleanliness.

·Assist with loading and unloading semi trailers using a pallet jack or pallet walkie.

·Communicate with supervisor any issues seen or noticed.

·Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Attention to detail.
• Good computer skills such as email, word, excel and any type of measuring device software.
• Must be willing to work or travel at moment’s notice.
• Possess the ability to follow instructions and understanding of what is being communicated.
• Good hand eye coordination.
• Ability to use a cell phone to order lyft/uber rides and for job assignment flight details.
• Must be able to push and pull 100 pounds and lift routinely 50 lbs.
• Have a positive, can-do attitude
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools.
