The EASE Specialist is a full-time position located in Mankato, MN with day time hours. This position will allow you to give back to the community while having flexibility, full-time benefits, training, and advancement opportunities! Starting pay is $15.18 per hour and will vary depending on previous experience. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. This position is located in our Energy Drive, Mankato location. Job Summary: The EASE Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation of center-based, person-centered day service plans for individuals with disabilities and/or disadvantages. As a strong communicator, the EASE Specialist will also ensure regular communication with clients, client teams, co-workers and community members as well as closely tracking all day services activity. In this position, you will: Develop, plan and coordinate activities for program participants to promote greater community independence, skills, and social interaction. Provide daily direct support to clients with disabilities and/or disadvantages. Duties may include medication administration, use of adaptive equipment, personal care support, and driving. Effectively communicate information to client teams as needed. Complete paperwork and implement protocols. Monitor assigned day support service programming to analyze efficiency and effectiveness and implement changes to maximize effectiveness of the program. Recruit, retain and recognize a range of volunteers in program delivery. Utilize technology and processes to ensure timely communication and make cold calls. Work independently and do so while collaborating with a team and meeting personal goals. Transport clients. Qualifications/Requirements: A High School diploma/equivalent. Sales and/or customer service experience preferred. Sensitivity to the needs of individuals with disabilities. Must possess excellent communication skills both with clients and community members. Proficient problem solving skills. Demonstrate competency in computer based office software. Must have valid driver's license. Must clear a background study through the Department of Human Services.
