e&e is seeking a Data Statistical Analyst for a hybrid contract opportunity in Malvern, Homestead, or Harrisburg, Pennsylvania!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides statistical support for the development of statistical analysis plans, including support with development of targeted educational trends.
- Create documentation around processes, procedures, and origins of data being used.
- Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvements.
- Use data to help the organization find opportunities for improvement or revenue generation.
- Work with users and managers to gather requirements, document needs, and identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- Provide visualization and reporting tools to the various stakeholders.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and interpret or communicate the results in a clear manner.
- Participates in statistical analysis projects or workstreams and directly contributes to achievement of project deliverables.
- This role is responsible for developing the primary (single source) of business reporting data for the organization.
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
- Be hands-on in automating the collection and normalization of data from various sources to a single data repository, data warehouse, or framework.
- Work closely and in parallel with DBAs and other IT divisions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for coordinating across teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, coupled with attention to detail.
- An innate sense of urgency and competitiveness with a drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
- Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL etc.)
- Experience and broad understanding of databases, including SQL Server.
- Experience working with and creating data architectures.
- You have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Must be an enthusiastic self-starter, responsive to instruction and eager to learn more while having a knack for being innovative and inquisitive, while remaining practical and decisive
- A strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to develop actionable business insights.
- Experience using reporting and/or visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
- Excellent communicator & creative thinker, with an ability to use both data & intuition to inform decisions.
- ECommerce industry experience preferred
- Very skilled with Microsoft Excel
- You play well with others.
