U.S. Data Security (“USDS”) is a standalone department of TikTok in the U.S. This new security-first division was created to bring heightened focus and governance to our data protection policies and content assurance protocols to keep U.S. users safe. Our focus is on providing oversight and protection of the TikTok platform and user data in the U.S., so millions of Americans can continue turning to TikTok to learn something new, earn a living, express themselves creatively, or be entertained. About the Team
The Global Payment team of the US Tech Service department of TikTok provides all-round payment solutions for the company's overseas products, overseas commercialization, and the company's overseas travel and procurement, including channel access, product order design, user interaction, capital management, tax and exchange optimization, settlement Reconciliation and so on. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to develop and manage the complex challenges of scale with your expertise in large-scale system design.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage metrics for fast changing business in an analytical data-driven approach to identify business issues and opportunities.
- Prototype analysis pipelines to provide insights, and quick responses to business inquiries and events.
- Conduct routine and non-routine end-to-end analyses with large, complex data sets, and make appropriate recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics or other relevant majors with 2+ years of work experience.
- Proficient in SQL and Python or other programming languages used in Data Science.
- Experience in Hadoop/Hive/Spark/Flink or other computing platforms and tools.
- Knowledge of fundamentals of machine learning, such as algorithm families (regression, classification, unsupervised), AB testing, hypothesis testing, and optimization
- Good self-driving ability and team cooperation ability, strong sense of responsibility, willingness and ability to challenge oneself and learn new knowledge.
- Experience working with user growth, search, payment products is a plus.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $104000 - $211200 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
