  • We are seeking a data scientist with experience in medical devices, genomics, molecular biology, or microbiology to join our team working on innovation projects at client Technologies and Innovation.
  • In this role, you will work on projects involving data analysis, interpretation, and integration for applications in research and development, product development, and clinical validation.


Responsibilities


  • Contribute to the design, execution, and interpretation of experimental data generated from in-house R&D and customer studies.
  • Collect, manage, analyze, and interpret complex scientific data from multiple sources to support technology development and clinical validation.
  • Develop, validate, and optimize data-driven models and pipelines for analyzing genomics, microbiology, and molecular biology data.
  • Develop and implement algorithms for data normalization, clustering, classification, and feature selection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.


Required Qualifications


  • Passion for data-driven decision-making and eagerness to learn and grow
  • A degree in a relevant field such as data science, bioinformatics, computer science, or statistics
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R
  • Knowledge of medical devices, genomics, molecular biology, or microbiology
  • Familiarity with statistics
  • Demonstrate flexibility to quickly learn and adopt new technologies.
  • Proficiency in version control tools and reproducible research practices
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


Preferred Qualifications


  • Basic knowledge of batch scripts
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Familiarity with machine learning.
  • Experience working in the cloud
  • Familiarity querying databases
