Data Science Intern (Summer 2023)

Length: Approximately 12 weeks (Summer Internship). This is a paid internship.

Location: Hybrid based out of Manhattan with 3-5 days per week to collaborate with our Technical PM out of a WeWork.

What you will do: The internship will be a realistic job preview as to what it is like to work at CertifID and a chance for interns to showcase their skills and abilities.

Reporting to the VP of Technology, the intern will be working on challenging projects in support of real-time business issues while developing skills and experiences. Our Data Science Intern can expect to work on real world projects to develop and deploy data driven solutions, collaborate cross functionally on data and requirements, create and enhance dashboards, and document and communicate findings to our team. You will be exposed to the hands-on learning and professional development opportunities that allow them to expand their skills and grow their career in new, dynamic ways.

What you have:

• Active student in good standing currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's level program working towards a degree in a related field
• A team player and go-getter
• Ability to understand and analyze stakeholder needs against data
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in PostgreSQL and Python
• An urge to ask questions, listen and propose solutions
• Eagerness to learn new things and help others do the same
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and resources effectively

Bonuses: Prior internship experience and/or experience at Tech/SaaS companies
