Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Strategy and Governance:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the organization's goals, ensuring data integrity, quality, and security.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

1. Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Lead the analysis and interpretation of complex data sets to extract meaningful insights, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Create insightful reports and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

1. Data Management:

• Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data infrastructure, implement data modeling techniques, and ensure seamless integration across systems.
• Oversee the design and implementation of data collection, storage, and retrieval systems, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.

• Work closely with business units, underwriting, claims, actuarial, and other teams to understand data requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive innovation.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards related to data privacy, security, and reporting.

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in data manipulation, modeling, and analysis using tools such as AWS Athena, SQL, Python, R, or similar languages.
• Strong leadership abilities and a track record of successfully managing and developing a data team.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance products, underwriting, claims processes, and industry-specific data requirements.
• Proven experience (5 years) in data management, analysis, and reporting with experience in the property and casualty insurance industry.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, AWS QuickSight) and proficiency in creating meaningful reports and dashboards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and regulatory compliance.
