Innova Solutions is immediately a Data Governance Project Manager (Workday Implementation)!



Position type: Contract

End Client: Government agency

Duration: 12 months, extendable

Location: Atlanta-GA. Office in the downtown area, and this position goes on site 2 days a week.


As a Data Governance Project Manager, you will Serve as the lead for all data related activities to support the implementation of Workday. This includes data mapping, extraction, preparation for loading into Workday, and validation.



The ideal candidate will have previous experience creating a data management framework and/or consulting on data management with government clientele. Regarding the credentials of project staff, the principals assigned to the project should be recognized experts in the field of data management consulting, preferably with published papers, presentations, or research on the topics of data governance frameworks and implementation of data governance strategies.



Responsibilities:

  • Document other sources of financial, human resources, and procurement data
  • Develop and execute a strategy to ensure data is adequately cleansed in preparation for the Workday implementation
  • Determine and execute an approach to standardize foundational and master data within the system in support of Workday implementation activities
  • Determine and execute an approach to address the pain points in the future system
  • Develop a data governance framework, that guides data quality and the protection of sensitive data
  • Document systems of record, agency level data owners and data stewards
  • Develop and execute a project plan to capture and manage all tasks related to the data related activities
  • Develop an initial data dictionary that can be supported and maintained long term
  • Develop and execute a strategy to ensure partner agency buy-in and adoption
  • Determine specific initial steps necessary to identify and quantify current data pain points by module and sub-module
  • Develop and deliver a data governance structure (body of people) that will serve to govern the use of data across the agencies and refine the data governance framework
  • Develop & maintain inventory of the enterprise information maps, including authoritative systems and owners.
  • Help identify the systems of record for data and the flow of data between agencies and third-party entities.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: 75-90/hr w2


*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
