Responsibilities/Qualifications:
The D ata Entry Technician - Merchandising is an entry-level professional role that provides an opportunity to launch a career in Merchandising or Supply Chain at Pet Supplies Plus. The Data Entry Technician - Merchandising is responsible for product data entry and maintaining the data integrity of products, prices, and classification of products within their assigned categories. This detail-oriented role will allow you to learn the retail basics while you assist Merchandising and Inventory Managers in our fun and fast-paced pet supply industry. As a member of the Merchandising Services team, you will be exposed to many learning experiences as we interact with all areas of the business such as Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.

The Data Entry Technician - Merchandising will provide support to the Merchandising Team in the areas of item set up, catalog maintenance, and promotions. Responsibilities include:
  • Manage new product data creation and maintenance
  • Assist in special projects and tasks as assigned
  • Daily management of the product information catalog
  • Reviewing creatives for promotional offers
  • Support the entry and maintenance of promotional offers
  • Communication and administrative functions to support vendors & stores
  • Gathering, sorting, prioritizing, and ensuring data accuracy for computer entry
PAWsome Data Entry Technician - Merchandising candidates will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, or equivalent computer/data entry experience.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to independently prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in MS Excel
  • Proficient in basic retail math and problem solving
  • Willingness to learn and support the team
  • Ability to work independently and on a team.
