Position Overview
Are you ready to join our team as a Part-Time Data Entry Specialist, Claims Processing? In this role, you'll be an integral part of our claims processing and service network teams. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting Customer Service Representatives with claim preparation and procuring parts for furniture, major appliances, and consumer electronics. If you have experience in multiple industries, that's definitely a plus! As a Data Entry Specialist, Claims Processing, you'll manage queues, order parts, respond to emails, follow up on shipments, and monitor inventory levels. Exceptional organizational skills and professional communication are crucial as you'll be addressing questions from both internal and external parties.
Responsibilities
Create spreadsheets to track important customer information and orders
Digitize data from hard copies into a digital database
Update and organize customer information in a database
Verify and update outdated data and records
Liaise with vendors via email to obtain updates on parts, SKU's, and model numbers
Conduct research on customer accounts to verify protection plans and terms
Provide occasional administrative support
Review claims for deficiencies and errors
Support data entry across departments as needed
Demonstrate quick and efficient typing skills
Maintain data integrity through regular quality checks and audits
Retrieve and research information from the internet
Respond to information requests promptly and access relevant files efficiently
Showcase a passion for exceptional customer service
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
Proficient computer and technology skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn industry-specific software
Excellent multitasking abilities while maintaining attention to detail
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation abilities
Intermediate typing skills
Clear and efficient communication skills, both written and verbal
Bilingual (English & Spanish) Preferred, But Not Required

Work Environment & Schedule
You'll be working in a high-volume inbound call center environment at our Protection Service Center. Our operating hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, with multiple shifts available. The noise level is moderate, and the role requires significant multitasking. During the initial training and nesting period, you'll need to work on-site at our North Richland Hills headquarters. This part-time position offers flexibility in choosing your shifts and a hybrid schedule.
