Summary

The Data Entry Clerk should be able to enter a high volume of data entry quickly and accurately on a daily basis to meet deadlines. This role will vary and adapt to the applicable division and project as needed. The ideal candidate must operate data entry devices and duties may include verifying data and preparing materials for printing.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Locate and correct data entry errors and/or report them to supervisors.
  • Perform clerical functions as needed, including but not limited to copying, filing, scanning,etc.
  • Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors.
  • Store completed documents in appropriate locations.
  • Select materials needed to complete work assignments.
  • Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.
  • Consistently update and review spreadsheets and databases.
  • Maintain and continually improve filing system of all records.



Key Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities:

  • Makes arrangements for external meetings with clients and vendors such as restaurant or conference room reservations.
  • Back up other roles as able and required.
  • Organizes client meeting packets and deliverables.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Provides information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, and placing and expediting orders for supplies.
  • Complete and process client paperwork as necessary.
  • Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
  • Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, mail, and text.


Education and Experience Requirements

  • Knowledge of Redtail, AdviceWorks, Albridge, Docupace, Morningstar, Envestnet, My Rep Chat is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • At least 1 year of administrative assistant or relevant experience
