Summary

The Global Quality Management System (GQMS) Data Entry Clerk is responsible for data entry of quality issues into IQIS and VELES operating systems.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions

Primary

Open and close repair orders

• Communicate with Inspectors and KMMG Repair and/or Quality team members if write ups or sign offs are not clearly written on repair order form.
• Open and close repair orders once unit has been processed by Confirmation.
• Check VELES data entry on an hourly basis to ensure ROs have been entered correctly and no information is missing.

Provide timely customer service and answer IQIS and VELES data entry questions for Management, KMMG or other third party vendors

• Practice team collaboration and help answer questions and/or bring up concerns.
• File and organize ROs and VPC-Line related documents.
• Respond promptly and professionally to any inquiries.
• Assist in retrieving any of the above documents if needed.

Secondary

Comply with Safety and Quality standards

• Conform to quality standards and alert and communicate any quality concerns with Supervisor/ Manager .
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Participate in daily startup meetings and Safety Meetings.

Qualifications

Skills

• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Must be detail oriented and safety conscious.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within changing priorities
• Must be able to handle simple issues drawing from past experiences.

Education & Experience
