Mid-Senior Data Engineer, Up to $110,000-120,000, Boston

Evolution is partnering with a mission focussed non profit organization, helping foundations and charities to maximise impact to help change the world. Through data driven methods, you'll be helping charities and foundations understand how they're performing against their own goals.

As a Data Engineer at this company, you'll be the go to technical expert in the room. You'll play an integral role in projects that improve the organization’s use of data, identify and drive efficiencies in their processes. You'll be working closely with staff to maintain and upgrade the online reporting system.

You'll also be building and developing cloud-based data pipelines and architecture while maintaining and improving back-end Python applications for this system.

Day to day...

• Designing and improving existing cloud-based data pipeline using Fivetran, DBT, RDMS
• Maintaining legacy code written in Python
• Leading and implementing the majority of the core code infrastructure
• Mentoring junior members of the team
• Creating, monitoring, and maintaining a cloud-based architecture (AWS)

Essential skills...

• Minimum 4 years' experience
• Python, SQL, DBT
• Cloud Architecture (AWS)
• A degree in computer programming or related subject
