Job Description

BI & Analytics Technology Engineer

  • Hybrid Contract Role, Atlanta, GA


RedStream Technology is seeking an Analytics Technology Engineer to support the enterprise Business Intelligence and Analytics environment. The environment includes platforms in a heterogeneous and distributed environment spanning across different domains, data centers & clouds (AWS/Azure).


The primary area of focus for this role will include working with stakeholders/vendors, troubleshooting operational issues. Evaluate user requirements and recommend appropriate AWS/Azure cloud solutions/architectures conforming with all firm’s security standards.


Qualifications

  • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Good understanding of Agile /Scrum framework
  • The ability to work both independently and in project teams in a remote team setting
  • Strong Expertise in Cloud Architectural concepts like Networking, Security, Databases (Relational and/or NoSQL), Operating Systems (Unix, Linux, and/or Windows), Storage. Strong Working knowledge with Cloud(AWS/Azure) Analytical Products – AWS(S3, CLI, Athena, Glue, RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora, SageMaker etc.), Azure(DataFactory, SQL, Synapse, Blob Storage, etc.), Data Bricks. Strong Working knowledge with Open Source Tooling(Jupyter, RStudio, Kedro, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools etc.)
  • Distinct quality mindset and service attitude
  • Ability to communicate effectively - both verbally and in writing
  • Relevant AWS, Azure certifications would be a big plus point. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • 3 - 5 years of work experience in managing, supporting & engineering of Cloud Analytical Products offered by AWS & Azure.
  • Sound understanding of RDBMS systems, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, PL/SQL, ETL, Business Intelligence, and Data Analytics.
  • Strong Technical knowledge of Data Visualization Tools like Tableau, Power BI, Domo.
  • Strong zero defect & DevOps mindset
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology from an accredited college/university
  • Good Understanding with one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Shell-scripting.
  • Strong process management background, in developing and optimizing processes
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills
