Internship Description

The primary focus of this internship will be to assist in the creation and customization of applications using Tableau Desktop. The intern will report to and work with our Analytics Team Leads. They will also have the opportunity to observe and interact with members of the sales and operations teams. Duties include performing data discovery, data cleansing, dynamic dashboard creation, and evaluating key performance metrics/indicators for customers. The ideal candidate for this internship is detailed oriented, has a natural curiosity inclined toward business and intermediate technical abilities.

Open to Fall Internships for the 2023-24 school year. There is opportunity for interns to have their term extended.

*Requires Intern to be in Charleston area during duration of internship*

Ideally looking for 15-20 hours per week. Weekdays only. Flexible around intern's schedule.

Scope & Responsibilities:

• Meet periodic production goals set forth by Team Leads and COO
• Create new applications for specific requests
• Clean Data sets
• Build out current dashboard library

Requirements:

• Well versed in Microsoft Excel
• Analytical skills, strong work ethic, independence, problem solving ability, effective communication skills, and overall positive attitude
• Experience with Data Visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI and Google Data Studio, as well as data cleansing
• Earning a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to pivot & multi-task

Preferred:

• R, SPSS, or other statistical analysis software
• Experience with HTML, web development & webhooks
