About The Role
The Data Analyst III will work closely with the business to provide Power BI visualization expertise to design and develop BI reports as well as providing insights to improve decision-making. This role will require extensive knowledge over business intelligence, data integration, data warehousing, database, and technical aspects of BI tools. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in handling, processing, and analyzing huge sets of data.
Job Responsibilities

• Using deep understanding of the business problem, reports data clearly and succinctly
• May act as proxy for Director of Business Analytics as appropriate
• Power BI Report development.
• Acts as a Leader within Business Analytics; is able to support and cascade messages from management; helps team members.
• Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals.
• Organizes reports and maintains procedures to ensure consistent data is pulled in the future
• Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI.
• Works with the business to identify data and analytic requirements.
• Gathers information from a variety of source systems internally and externally
• Interprets findings using a variety of commonly used analytic practices and procedures
• Proactively points out related observations in the data
• Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence.
• Has a deep understanding of data in all of company’s source systems and relevant external sources of data.
• Analysis and query on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
• Review work of all others in Data Analytics to ensure accuracy and provide constructive feedback.

Education And Experience
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years’ experience in data analytics or a related field. Applicant should be extremely competent in RDBMS and SQL, and BI platform reporting. Will be helpful to have one or more of: VBA, .NET, C++, Java, SQL, PL. Should also have advanced skills in Microsoft Office products Excel and Power BI.

Essential Job Functions
