Volt is immediately hiring for a Data Analyst III in Cupertino, CA 95014/Remote.
As a Data Analyst III, you will:
The Retail Engagement and Marketing team is looking for an exceptional individual to join our team. You’ll be responsible for analyzing and reporting on data related to Retail learning and development programs. The ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for designing and executing surveys and assessments, collecting, and analyzing data from learning management systems, and creating reports that summarize findings and make recommendations for improvement.
As the Analytics and Assessments Analyst for Retail learning and development programs, you are responsible for bringing the best of the industry, Client, and Retail together to drive strategies, build capabilities, and create the conditions that build knowledge, elevate skills, drive motivation, and monitor and evaluate impact.
Analytics and Assessments Analyst for Learning is responsible for the analysis and reporting of the impact of learning and development programs on the business. The tracking of key performance indicators will be critical to enhance the understanding of the business and to improve decision-making to drive improvements in the employee experience. This role will standardize the tools, methodologies, and business processes aimed at improving operational efficiency. We seek someone with a strong business demeanor and outstanding technical skills, while possessing the ability to condense sophisticated analysis and technical concepts into clear and concise takeaways for business leaders.
Key Qualifications
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with Python, R, SQL and related tools.
- Use statistics, along with the concepts of reliability and validity, to analyze the performance of items and tests.
- Create assessments that are valid and fair for a variety of delivery types including app, web, on the job, virtual classroom, and classroom.
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to find creative solutions.
- 7+ years’ experience working in global analytics teams.
- Experience creating compelling data visualizations and building presentations using Keynote.
- Meticulous attention to detail, an ability to collaborate effectively between business and data groups.
- Ability to work and speak to both creative and technical teams.
- Comfort working in and through ambiguity; cross-functional experience is a must.
- Critical and curious thinker with the ability to focus on both the details and big picture.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral - you can convey complex ideas simply.
- Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of statistical and forecasting principles.
Education & Experience
BS/BA degree required; MS degree a plus - ideally in an analytical field such as Economics, Statistics, Mathematics. individual impact (assessment, progression).
Analytics (Customer Engagement and Communication, as well as learning and development)
- Presentation Experience
- Python, R, SQL, Excel or related tools
- Data Visualizations (Tableau)
- Assessment Experience (Learning Engagement = web, e-learning,)
- Analytic Experience (Forecasting)
This is a Contract Opportunity.
Pay Range: $60-$62
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
