JOB TITLE: Data Analyst—( Healthcare/Azure and Power BI)

EMPLOYMENT TYPE/DURATION: Contract role – 12 months

COMPENSATION: Pay Rates: $55-70/hour

LOCATION DETAILS: Los Angeles, CA-REMOTE PST times

Position Summary:

• They will have the ability to understand data consumption use and patterns.
• They gather and document data requirements from business and project stakeholders, performs data profiling on databases and data files using SQL and data tools,creates current state data flow diagrams and source-to-target data mapping specifications and report or data extract layouts. They create or consume business requirements to produce reporting, analytics, algorithms, and data visualizations to satisfy business needs.
• The Data Analyst performs data modeling, design storage structure, source to target mapping, and analyzes data to identify issues and recommend corrections.
• They will develop expertise in business processes and data, and works well with IT developers, testers, internal customers, external clients and vendors.

Core Essential Functions

• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions using data analysis and data profiling.

•Creates or supports reports, analytics, and data visualization

• Gathering critical information from multiple stakeholders to specify and validate business reporting or data extracts using data mapping and data quality techniques.

• Establishing accurate data definitions and producing audience appropriate data models for the business or project domain. Coordinating and assisting developers and QA analysts to ensure data is accurately recorded and used.

• Understand requirements and identify non-functional requirements that will impact the data design.

• Decompose Product Features into User Stories

• Actively engaged as core member of scrum teams to deliver on data programs\projects.

• Work with ETL and QA to ensure all requirements are met by the solution. Work with DBA’s to tune performance

• Create and maintain source to target mapping documents.

• Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.

• Performing requirements analysis.

• Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.

• Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.

• Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.

• Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.

• Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.

• Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.

• Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.

• Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users

Experience

· 8 years of experience of performing data analysis and reporting development, writing SQL queries and stored procedures with relational databases

Software Skills

• Bonus:Databricks, Synapse, R, Python, NLP, AI
• TSQL,MS Azure, Power BI or other Data Visualization Tools,

Education

· BA/BS in MIS, statistics, computer science, mathematics, information management, business, or a related field
